A Major Step in the Right Direction!

We are incredibly grateful to Mayor Annette Groves and MPP Sylvia Jones for taking action on an issue that impacts not only the people of Caledon but communities across Ontario.

This week, Mayor Groves and MPP Jones met with Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Rob Flack, to raise the alarm about the growing problem of illegal land use in Caledon.

Their advocacy is a powerful step toward finding real solutions. Ongoing conversations with Minister Flack will explore whether legislative changes or new provincial policies are needed to give municipalities the tools to act decisively.

We’re hopeful this is just the beginning of meaningful progress. Every conversation, every meeting, brings us one step closer to protecting the safety, well-being, and quality of life for residents here in Caledon—and across the province.
